This downtown playground features an outdoor bar, two bocce courts, two bags game sets, a fire pit in appropriate weather. The K9 Social Club is where your dogs can play while you do, and best of all… direct access to the FRESHEST and FINEST brews in the area from Obed & Isaac’s Microbrewery and 7th Street Cidery.
All of this is just across the street from Mr. Lincoln's Home with a view of the Illinois State Capitol to the West.

The Beer Garden Bar is available to rent for private events during the winter months thanks to walls that keep the heat in and the beer cold!
Inside the walls you will find free darts, checkers, and board games! Something fun for all!
Come springtime the walls come down and this open air bar is the top nightlife spot in Downtown Springfield.
We love animals of all types, but our poochie pals take a near and dear place in our hearts. Dogs are welcome on the patio at Obed & Isaac's as well as in our bocce garden.

Bocce Ball
We offer 2 maintained courts that are open 7 days a week for casual play. If you're unfamiliar with the game and curious on how to play, scroll down for a quick introduction to the rules.
For a little more fun and competition, there are 3 seasons of a bocce ball leagues taking place April through November. The Spring, Summer, and Fall leagues offer cash payouts with prizes awarded throughout the season.
